Early Morning on an Autumn Day
I painted this after I saw a sunrise from my front porch. It's on stretched canvas, approx. 3/4" in depth. It's small enough to sit on a bookshelf or end table, just leaning against something or sitting in a small easel.
A mixed media collage made with ads from the 1920-30's Saturday Evening Post. Edges are covered as well. Fun for a retro kitchen!
Summer Flowers #2
Acrylic on canvas. Part of a set of 3.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, approx. 1 1/2" in depth. Texture adds visual interest. Painted with a household tool. Your imagination can bring you into greenery under the water, or greenery on land...either way you are in the midst of it.
Early Spring Sky
This is an acrylic painting on canvas that I did after admiring the beauty outside my kitchen window. Each season holds a different view for me, but this was late winter before spring arrived and the sky turned from blue to blue with tints of pink and purple. As you can see there is a touch of green showing up on the trees, a welcome site after a long Ohio winter! Triptych of sorts made from 2 8"x10"s and an 11"x14". The painting is hanging at a home in Australia.
Trees on Wood panel
Heavily textured painting, acyrlic and other product to add texture on wood plywood panel. Framed with a thin black frame to give it a finished look.
Two color striping done in a living room as an accent wall.
Acrylic on foam. Framed in a simple black wood frame, Depth approx 1 1/2".
Abstract in Gray -custom
This was specially made for a customer in the colors of their choice.
Field in the Moonlight
Acrylic on stretched canvas, 1 1/2" in depth. Texture behind the paint adds visual interest. It was hard to capture the colors of this painting in a picture. The moon has a haze around it but it is a faint white, not what is seen on this copy. If interested I can take several other photos for you.
It seems I need to be active and doing something either physically or creatively-using my hands most of the time. I’ve been painting walls and rooms etc for years, and I’ve also done many different faux techniques and murals. Painting on canvas, wood and other surfaces is another way to fill the creative outlet. I find that painting is also a...Click here to continue reading
