Acrylic on stretched canvas, approx. 1 1/2" in depth. Texture adds visual interest. Painted with a household tool. Your imagination can bring you into greenery under the water, or greenery on land...either way you are in the midst of it.
This was a painting I did "live" during a set of worship music while I was in Australia. An Australian Boab tree and sun setting in the background are the basic part of the painting but the reflections and little details make it special. It was purchased the same night that it was painted and is hanging in a home in Australia.
Collage of dental ads in the Saturday Evening Posts from the 1920-30's. It was a lot of fun to read them and put this collage together. On canvas and painted with acrylics-edges also painted. This was bought as a gift to a dentist! Something like this would also go great in a retro bathroom!

It seems I need to be active and doing something either physically or creatively-using my hands most of the time.
