Show News!

It’s been a long while since I’ve written a blog, but I have news to share that is exciting and I thought I’d share.

Currently, you can see my art in studio 1 at Stella’s Art Gallery. We have moved to downtown Willoughby- They have new shows every month in the “show gallery”. The next show’s theme is “Northeast Ohio”.  You can find their hours and other information on the website  https://www.stellasartgallery.com/

One of the area annual art shows is at Fairmount Center for the Arts. https://www.fairmountcenter.org/exhibitions/  will help you find the location and the hours and details on the closing reception etc.  It is a competitive show and definitely an honor to have all 3 of my paintings accepted. Each of my art entries were completely different for another. The large painting is an abstract using the frame of an antique card table. I brought in a landscape collaged piece made from scraps on altered papers and hand painted paper and the other piece is woven from scraps of the edges of trimmed paintings.  See the “sneak peeks” here and head over to Fairmount to see the complete works.

I’ll have some work in the “Wild About Nature” art show at Penitentiary Glen from August 28th- October 10th. This is a group show with many artists that are very different in their styles and medium.
